WOW! (Wellbeing Onto Work) is a 10-week project
for young people aged 16 to 24 in South West Edinburgh
The project supports young people to build confidence, independence, and resilience while developing life and work skills.
Over the course of 10 weeks, participants take part in engaging activities and group sessions in supportive community settings such as The Broomhouse Hub, Edinburgh Zoo, and, previously, Edinburgh International Festival. (Please note: Our partnerships change from group to group.)
WOW! is designed to:
- Boost wellbeing and self-confidence
- Build independence and resilience
- Improve everyday life skills and future opportunities
Through connection, learning, and fun, WOW! helps young people prepare for education, employment, or volunteering, while also encouraging positive choices and active participation in their communities.

Absolutely great fun. Going to miss it massively now that it's drawing to a close.
Massive thanks to both Will, Esther, [and] Lyndsey from Space, and of course the amazing Rebecca from the Zoo!!
What an amazing experience it's been both times round, and forever grateful I got to do the project again.
[...] Well done everyone. 🤩🤩💥👏🏽
