Fun way to support children's
speech & language development
Build memories for a lifetime of fun
Join Bookbug Coordinator Gail as she takes us on another illustrated adventure in Space Reading Nook.
Bookbug sessions run every Tuesday from 9:20-10:30 a.m. at The Broomhouse Hub.
As Scotland’s universal early-years book gifting programme, Bookbug supports families to read, sing, and play with their little ones from birth, giving them the best start in life.
Many community centres, like Space @ The Broomhouse Hub, host Bookbug Sessions—a free weekly event (with hot breakfast for adults and kids) to come together and enjoy singing nursery rhymes and listening to stories.
Sessions are designed for parents and carers in the local area with wee ones (zero to five years old), to help build children’s social skills and support their speech and language development. It’s also a great way to spend time bonding with each other and meet other families in the community.
PLEASE NOTE: Late acceptance is not permitted. We advise you arrive by 9:20 a.m. to ensure you snag a spot in this popular group.
We know how important these children’s groups are in early-years development, which is why we’re committed to ensuring the support for kids is there as soon as possible.
