ESOL Courses

Want to improve your communication skills, converse with native speakers, and build social connections, all whilst learning a new skill?

Our ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) programme—provided in conjunction with Joined Up For Jobs, Edinburgh City Council, and The Edinburgh Guarantee funding—is a great place to start.

Join us at The Broomhouse Hub (79-89 Broomhouse Crescent, EH11 3RH) Monday through Thursday for a variety of FREE classes.

Monday:

• IELTS Preparation Course: 27 April-15 June 2026

• Intermediate ESOL (online): ONGOING

Tuesday:

• Beginner ESOL: ONGOING

• Pre-Intermediate Course: ONGOING

Wednesday:

• Beginner ESOL: ONGOING

• Intermediate ESOL: ONGOING

Thursday:

• Conversation Class: ONGOING

Courses are open to everyone aged 16 and over.

Skills for Success

We are also running a new 10-week employability course (27 April to 29 June) for ESOL learners to boost their ‘Skills for Success‘.

Increase confidence, gain job skills, and improve English proficiency whilst working toward a professionally recognised qualification (which looks great on a CV!).

Course participants may also choose to take advantage of one-to-one appointments with a qualified English tutor, who can provide additional support with ESOL or employability needs, including filling out an application and practicing for interviews.
