Donate

At Space, all money raised goes directly to The Broomhouse Hub to fund the vital work we do for our community.

We are extremely grateful for any contributions. Every donation makes a real difference to the lives of disadvantaged young people and vulnerable adults.

Thank you so much for your support.

Don’t forget to claim Gift Aid, which guarantees Space an additional 25% of your donation, at no cost to yourself.

Fundraise

Fundraising is important to us. People fundraising on our behalf helps support projects focused on physical and mental wellbeing, education and training, youth work provision, community care, and support for older people.

How you can help raise funds for Space @ The Broomhouse Hub:

One way to help is by organising a fundraising event!

This doesn’t have to involve jumping out of a plane or swimming the Forth. You can be as creative as you like: host a coffee morning, games night, charity football match. Whatever you choose, it will make a difference.

To chat about your ideas and what we can do to support your fundraising efforts, contact Relationships & Fundraising Manager Martin via martin.allen@spacescot.org or 0131 455 7731.

Selling

Jumble sales and car boots are always a great option, along with a bake-off or sale of homemade crafts.

Selling items or unwanted gifts is also a good opportunity to get rid of things you no longer need. Win-win!

Quizzes

Hold a general-knowledge or quirky themed quiz with friends and family.

Any team-based event is sure to get people involved. And a competitive edge always helps when it comes to raising money for a good cause.

Dress Up

Organise a non-uniform or dress-down day at your school or workplace. (Or take it one step further and get people to come in costume!)

Ask everyone for a small donation to take part.

Sponsorship

If you’re interested in getting fit and healthy, then a sponsored run, walk, or cycle might be just the thing.

You can pick anything challenging to do and spur people on to donate to the cause.

I chose to raise money to support Space @ The Broomhouse Hub, as I have a personal connection to the charity and used to volunteer with them as a youth befriender. The charity is an incredible community organisation that supports local people and families. [...] They offer a fantastic range of services for the community.
