Support our Training Academy
The Space Training Academy works with community members of all ages, abilities, backgrounds, and cultures to help build confidence, develop life skills, and ultimately bring them closer to finding paid employment or other positive opportunities.
This role will assist our team in organising and delivering a programme of engaging, fun, and educational learning and development activities, in consultation with trainees/members.
It may also involve helping with administration, social media, and planning of projects, where there is interest.
Help deliver a fun and engaging service
We are looking for volunteers to help with our different groups across the week, including:
- ESOL (English as a second or foreign language) classes
- Women’s Collective: weekly social group for mums
- Living & Learning in Scotland course: for Ukrainians and other new Scots
- Pick ‘n’ Mix to Employment: for 16-to-24-year-olds (groups in wellbeing, employability, and 1:1 support)
- Planning Futures for Parents: career planning and personal development
- Space Station: Catering and hospitality course for people wanting to enter this sector of work
We are looking for people passionate about education and supporting people to realise their potential.
