Space @ The Broomhouse Hub was fortunate last year to secure 12 months of funding to open our doors on Saturdays and run various community services.
Regrettably, this funding has come to an end, which very sadly means The Broomhouse Hub—as well its Kids Breakfast Club, Saturday Kids Club, and weekly brunch—will no longer be open and available on Saturdays, starting in July 2025.
Our last Saturday opening (for now!) is 28 June 2025.
This is upsetting news for all of us, from the public who make use of our additional groups and join us for fantastic cafe brunches to Space staff members who ensure smooth Saturdays.
We are actively working to secure more funding, which would enable Space to reopen on weekends; this is a long-term goal, so please keep an eye out for any news.
The rest of Space @ The Broomhouse Hub’s operations continue as normal, with the Coorie Food cafe open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m., and all usual groups and activities occurring throughout the weeks.
We’re also excited to take part in the Broomhouse Street Party on Thursday, Aug. 7, so there is still plenty to look forward to and enjoy at your community hub!
And, although the cafe isn’t open on Saturdays, booking a room at The Broomhouse Hub for your event is still an option.
