What is the Broomhouse Street Party?
- The Broomhouse Street Party is a free annual community event open to people of all ages from across South West Edinburgh and beyond, thanks to funding from local and national organisations
- The area is closed to vehicular traffic, allowing folks to wander from venue to venue and activity to activity
- Look for street performers, food kiosks, children’s entertainment, a quiet zone, and more; the main stage will be in full force with incredible acts from start to end
Is this a family-friendly affair?
- Yes!
- There are plenty of toilets, a breastfeeding area, and a quiet zone for when you need a break
- Well-behaved dogs are also very welcome, though we ask that they are kept on a lead at all times and owners must clean up any mess
What can I expect?
- Food! Fun! Festivities!
- The Street Party is a NO SMOKING ZONE (vapes included)
- Alcohol is NOT PERMITTED
- Printed maps and signage will help visitors nagivate the event
