A very big thank you to everyone for your understanding while we closed our doors for a couple of days. We’re happy to share that we are back open for business as usual, with all groups and classes running as scheduled.
While we were closed for yesterday’s entertaining tradition of “Talk Like A Pirate Day“, we decided we just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take part somehow!
That’s why we’re delighted to partner up with B Healthy Together to celebrate the day with an incredibly fun Pirate Brunch! Join us for a great event for the whole family here in The Broomhouse Hub on Tuesday 3rd October between 10:30am and 12pm.
There will be a range of fun themed crafting activities on offer, with our Space Kitchen team serving up a special brunch menu for all of us to enjoy!
Our Bookbug team will also be taking part by holding a Pirate-themed session ahead of time, so if you’re popping in for your usual session that morning then we encourage you to stay on and take part in the brunch!
Don’t worry though if you’re not a Bookbug attendee, you don’t need to be a part of the group to enjoy the brunch or crafting activities – as with all of our community meal offerings, it is open to everyone!
Simply drop in during the above times to take part – pirate outfits not required but highly encouraged!
This community event is free to attend thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund Scotland and The Scottish Government’s Investing in Communities Fund.
