Massive thank you to all who voted for Space in Tesco‘s community grants programme!
We’ve been awarded £1,500 to ensure our Young Carers can take a residential trip, attend this year’s pantomime, and buy new equipment and games for regular meetings.
Space’s Young Carers groups run four days a week, inviting kids to make new friends, get peer support, and just relax and play.
Our patient and dedicated team have years of experience providing support to young carers in schools, as well as a range of advice and information to maintain positive mental health and cope with increased demands a caring role can bring.

External funding like Tesco’s community grant allows young carers to explore, learn, and grow in their own space.
Tesco Stronger Starts—previously Tesco Bags of Help and Tesco Community Grants—has already provided more than £110 million to more than 60,000 projects across Britain.
The scheme is run in partnership with Greenspace Scotland and community charity Groundwork.
