We had an incredible time at the Pirate Brunch-themed Community Meal we held alongside the lovely team at B Healthy Together!
Our Kitchen Supervisor Craig put together a fantastic themed menu, with fun melon boats and cannonballs (haggis or veggie bonbons!) for everyone to enjoy. Of course we also had the classic pirate treasure of gold (chocolate) coins as well!
The creative Rebecca from B Healthy Together planned and set up a bunch of excellent crafting and sensory activities for the wee ones, from themed colouring books to a hands-on hunt for treasure hidden away in dough made from potato starch.

A big thank you to the wonderful volunteers from Bayware who came along dressed up for the occasion and got stuck in to help serve up food and coordinate activities with us!
We hope everyone had a great time, and thank you to our Bookbug team for coordinating a pirate themed session with this!
We’re looking forward to our next Community Meal already, we hope to see you there too! 🙂
This community event was free to attend thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund Scotland and The Scottish Government’s Investing in Communities Fund.
